Iconic Artist Greg Martin Has Passed Away
Greg Martin, well known for his undeniably iconic video game box art, passed away Friday, January 3rd. A friend of Martin’s revealed the sobering news on a Nintendoage forum the day of his death, and left a few very sentimental words in his wake.
Martin left a plethora of illustrations behind for us to remember him by; among them are the unforgettable Sonic the Hedgehog games, Adventure Island, Flintstones, Jetsons, Ducktales II, and many, many more. His art will be remembered forever in the hearts of thousands of gamers and his kindness will be cherished by loved ones. You will be missed, Greg.
