PS4 Users Experiencing Game Crashing Error
The PlayStation forums are ablaze with complaints of PlayStation 4 error CE-34878-0, which is causing save file corruptions, game crashes, and in some cases, making the console completely unusable.
It appears as though no single game is causing the problem, as users are reporting the error popping up on a number of popular titles, including NBA2K14, Battlefield 4, and Killzone: Shadow Fall. Some users have said that deleting save files is a way to fix the issue, but this is not advised, as multiple unlucky gamers have reported deleting all of their files with no success. Many have resorted to trading in their system’s altogether.
Before trying anything drastic, try disconnecting from the internet and relaunching your game, as a number of PS4 owners have said this has fixed the problem. It’s not a guaranteed cure, but it is much safer than deleting your save files, only to be disappointed.
