Starbound is one of those games that is epic in idea, and in execution. Starbound takes the player across a procedurally created universe (you heard that right), with every planet within it uniquely generated with its own flora, fauna, gravity, backdrops, and much more. Being developed by UK-based studio Chucklefish Games, Starbound looks to be one of the most innovative games of 2014.

Seeing as the beta for Starbound was released on December 4th, 2013, SlasherJPC of Next Generation Gaming gives it a whirl, inviting fan feedback and hints on how best to play this ambitious Indie title.
