Delightful Food and Drinks from Video Games

by

I have an Associate’s in the culinary arts, and as a foodie I can’t help but squeal in delight when I see video game food created in real life. For me, it’s like seeing an element of a game step out from my monitor and into actuality. Chefs are always talking about smell-o-vision, and while our technology isn’t to the point where we can smell the food we see on TV, we can still recreate it. I’d like to think it adds more to the gaming experience since we experience all of it through our eyes and ears. So SpawnFirst fans, I’m here to give you some of my favorite recipes and pictures from video games. Bon appetite!

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch – Tikka Mahala

The recipe for Tikka Mahala can be found at this link, courtesy of Gourmet Gaming.

I’ve watched these two chefs for over a year, and I’m so impressed with what they’ve done. Not only will you find recipes from video games, but you’ll find stuff from television shows and movies.

Another YouTuber I follow, who makes all things nerdy and geeky. If you’re a baker, or want to start learning how, she’s definitely someone to follow.

Rock Sirloin from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

You can find the recipe for this tasty delight at this link, courtesy of The Geeky Chef.

Elixir Soup from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

And if you’re looking to get a little tipsy, might I suggest a stop at the Drunken Moogle? This site is dedicated to pairing everything geeky with booze, and some of these combinations are incredible and very creative.
