Gunman Clive Launches on Steam Today

The popular indie eShop title Gunman Clive is out today, January 3rd, 2013. This version costs just $2.00, the same as the 3DS price. This is the same version as the eShop release, including the extra characters, but with a higher resolution and no 3D support. (Check out our glowing review of Gunman Clive on the 3DS HERE)

Creator Bertil Hörberg has not expressed much interest in the Steam release on Twitter, though he is interested to see how sales fare compared to the other platforms the game has been released on. The game has sold over 250,000 copies across it’s many platforms, with the 3DS taking credit for the “vast majority” of the those sales.

I couldn’t  see the PC sales surpassing 3DS sales any time soon, as smaller games like Gunman Clive work wonderfully on the go. Either way, it’s always nice to see indie developers trying to reach as many platforms as they can. Here’s hoping Hörberg will be rewarded for the time he put into this port.
