Nintendo Teases Content of its Direct Conference

Nintendo has begun to tease what games will be coming in their E3 Nintendo Direct on June 11th. This comes after Nintendo set up their E3 2013 site, which is now live.

The conference is said to have “all the latest news and announcements from Nintendo”, according to the site. Nintendo also noted that everything won’t be revealed on June 11th as “coverage will continue throughout E3 with game trailers, interviews, and more”. Four new titles will be included in the Nintendo demos, which are available at selected Best Buy stores.

Images on the site also teased upcoming titles by Nintendo. The silhouettes suggest that Mario, The Legend of Zela: The Wind Waker HD, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101 and New Super Luigi U will make an appearance at the Direct conference or soon after.

Nintendo surprised many earlier in the year by saying they would not having an E3 press conference like previous years. Nintendo Direct will be replacing the usual E3 spot and it’s already been confirmed that the Smash Bros., Mario and Mario Kart franchises will be showcased then.  After the presentation of these games, there will be a Wii U Software Showcase from COO Reggie Fils-Aime and Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of the infamous Mario series.
