PAX East: Harmonix Plans to Revive Rock Band for Xbox One and PS4
The CEO of Harmonix announced that he has ‘grand plans’ to revive both the Rock Band and Dance Central series. During the PAX East keynote address, the CEO teased the audience with plans to bring the franchise to the Xbox One, PS4, and potentially the Wii U. However he did not accompany this announcement with an official Rock Band 4 or Dance Central title, merely told the audience to be expecting a revival.
Music games have recently suffered from a slump, perhaps because the novelty of rocking out with friends has worn out. Whatever the case, with the new hardware present in next generation consoles along with new music releases, the games should look mighty enticing.
