The Witcher 3 Delayed, CD Projekt RED Says More Time is Needed

by

Developer CD Projekt RED sent out a press release today stating that they will need more time to work on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The new release window for the highly anticipated third installment of The Witcher  franchise will be February 2015 according to the press release, making it two years after the game’s announcement, instead of later this year.

CD Projekt RED have set their goals high, calling the open world of its newer RPG 20% larger than Skyrim  with no loading screens. That combined with the complex stories that have also appeared in the previous two installments have made this game too large for the team to complete for their previous release window.

When the game does release, it will be coming to PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
