Yacht Club Games have released a new trailer for their upcoming NES throwback game, Shovel Knight. The trailer shows off nothing but clearly Mega Man-inspired gameplay, with our shovel-handling hero battling his way through hordes of monsters and tricky platforming sequences. The music, written by the brilliant Jake Kaufman, is also turning out to be something radically memorable, with an epic track accompanying this newest preview.

Shovel Knight is out on March 31st for Wii U, 3DS, and PC. Pre-orders are now available on Yacht Club Games’ site.
