]]> Shuhei Yoshida confirmed via Twitter that users will not be able to customize the backgrounds on the PlayStation 4. Going from being able to customize the entire XMB menu on PS3 to not being able to have a custom background on the menu is a step backwards. However, with all the tiles on screen in the menu, it doesn’t seem like too much of a big deal; it’d be obscured by the tiles. However, being given the option to customize it would be nice. Maybe it might be implemented in the future but, for now, we have to settle for the blue background.
